Collection: Gas Logs

Gas logs for fireplaces, vented and ventless. Gas fireplace logs give you a fire you can start with a switch and stop when you go to bed, which is why most people who put them in never go back to burning wood.

The vented and ventless distinction matters more than looks. Vented gas logs need a working flue and burn with a taller, more realistic flame. Ventless gas logs burn cleaner and put nearly all their heat into the room, which makes them far more efficient, but they are restricted or prohibited in some jurisdictions and are not right for every space.

Get the sizing right before you order. Log sets are specified to the firebox, not to the room, and a set that is too large will not seat correctly or burn safely. Installation should be handled by a qualified professional in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, local building code, and gas safety requirements.
